Welcome to my website!
Hello there,
My name is Ava and I am so happy that you have found my blog. Having been recently diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis, I have learned that life as I knew it has changed drastically. I started feeling symptoms of IC March 2014, and as of July 2014 I have IC. Even though IC is something that is hard for someone to accept, I am happy that I finally have a diagnosis and can move forward. With the right medication, exercise, love and support from family and friends, and positive outlook, I have been able to adjust to my new life with IC. One thing that had me depressed was not being able to eat the foods that I once loved! I began researching the different IC friendly recipes from the internet, IC cookbooks, and magazines and have come to realize that there are plenty of really good recipes out there for me to try. I hope you find what you are looking for here and the meals are to your liking.
Remember, you have to choice to make IC your life, or have your life with IC as part of it. :) Enjoy!
